Stacy Dillard-Spahn is the Managing Partner of the Firm, handling case management and client relations.  For almost a decade, Stacy Dillard-Spahn and Robert Lincoln were the core of the land use litigation department at one of the area's largest firms, where her practice encompassed the land development process from concept and due diligence through governmental permitting, litigation and appeals.  She served as the project manager for complex land use and local government litigation matters and assisted clients in navigating the intricacies of the public procurement process and the negotiation of contracts and related agreements in forging public-private partnerships. 

Ms. Dillard-Spahn is a former law clerk to the trial court judges of Mason City, Iowa and previously served for ten years as a prosecutor and as a public defender in Sioux City, Iowa, where she handled hundreds of juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony cases and was at the forefront of establishing the state’s mental health courts.  Just prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Dillard-Spahn was Director of Court Services for the Sarasota County Clerk of Court, where she managed several departments, including Civil Courts and Recording, overseeing 75+ employees in providing direct support to Sarasota’s judges and attorneys. 

Ms. Dillard-Spahn graduated with high honors from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she completed their nationally recognized Environmental and Natural Resources program, and earned her B.A. in Psychology with high distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is admitted to practice in the Florida State Courts and the U.S. Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Dillard-Spahn has served on numerous boards and committees and maintains a strong commitment to the community, with an emphasis on advocacy for those with type 1 diabetes following the diagnosis of her son with T1D, including volunteer work for JDRF, whose mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.  Ms. Dillard-Spahn's community involvement also involves youth programs, the local bar association and pro bono legal services.  She was the author and manager of a statewide award-winning law firm pro bono program, and assisted the judiciary in establishing the 12th Circuit Family Law Guardian Ad Litem program.  Ms. Dillard- Spahn is currently a Director and the Governance Chair of the Board of the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Chair of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Leadership Council, a Member of the Board of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and has served as a volunteer on numerous other public service committees for arts, youth and education programs.
